Another day in the neighborhood

This is pretty much a random post of what we have been up to lately. Nothing exciting or earth shattering to report around here. We have both been working alot. I am trying to stay sane through the end of the week. We had some people get sick this week and we are already short staffed so we wrangled 300 plus kids yesterday alone with about 5 staff members. Sounds like that would be ok but these kids were on the last day before christmas break and were out to have some FUN!!! We made it and as I sit here among about 200 kids this morning it seems almost serene compared to yesterday.

We still have a MOUSE in the house that is posing a great problem. It/they (I know there is probably more than one) have figured out how to get the peanut butter without getting caught. It goes from trap to trap collecting the pb and then goes on its merry way. It is probably gaining weight by the hour.

The countdown has begun to christmas and the trip. The closer it gets the more unprepared we feel. We will have one day between christmas and leaving to get repacked and ready to head out. We still need to round up scarves, gloves and hats. It is looking like it will be a cold one.

We never got out the christmas cards....go figure. We never had time for another "photo shoot". Another year without a card is not too bad. We got a little further this year with it than in the past so I figure next year it will really happen.

I am off to battle the wild children we have here today. Until later...Have a great day!

Can't imagine having to wrangle 300 kids. My kids are a handful and I only have 3!

So, where are you two off to?
