This is not a sign!

Hello all! Your favorite Rite Aid pharmacist here. My mom and dad got me a new lens for my camera for christmas- it is best suited as a portrait lens and i got my first chance to really test it out this past weekend at our friends' house. They have a beautiful 6-month-old daughter,Ava, who just happens to be very camera friendly!

I must admit that although I do find babies very cute- my attitude is totally different toward's Ava. I am assuming that I feel this way because she is the daughter of one of my best friends and she is the first baby born to parents with whom I was already close to, including family. I feel a certain sense of pride whevever I get to see or talk about her...not quite a"fatherly" pride....but a pride I have never before felt for a baby. As if this weren't enough, the pure joy that ensues whenever I see her eyes light up and that ever-so-addictive smile form across her chubby little face is simply fantastic!

Although not in the nearby future (for those of you trying to figure out if this is a sign....mom!), I look forward to the day when I have chlidren of my own-I can only imagine the joy, the pride, and....the photo opportunities!

Here is a slideshow of the best pics I got. This is a great lens!

Those pics are great and Ava is a cutie pie! I think that photographing kids is awesome. I couldn't even tell you how many pictures we have of the kiddos. Photos are my passion, so I make sure that I get as many as I can!

Cute baby, great pictures. You are getting lots of good practice taking pictures of babies before you have one of your own!
