Lazy Days and Alligators

I know that the two things in the title are totally unrelated but they pretty much sum up my day.

First, I consider today a lazy day because we were slower than we thought we would be at work because it was so PRETTY outside. I spent a half hour this morning playing with a coworkers baby until her husband could come by to pick the baby up because she had to teach a class then I went and got a pedicure. When I came back I spent a good three hours pedal to the medal and got all my work done that needed to get off my desk. Amazing what some quiet time and a few hundred less e-mails than usual allow you to accomplish. Then I spent some more time playing till time for me to go. I got off at two today and since then I have gone for a walk and done a workout and that pretty much sums it up. The rest of my time has been spent piddling. Actually a good 5 hours to be exact ;) I just was not feeling a fast pace today so I kind of did my own thing.

Second, I overheard the cutest conversation today at work in the bathroom. This was a 4 year old girl and her grandma who visited the museum today. I was in the public restroom and I heard a grandma tell her grandaughter to just pick a stall because they were all the same. So, finally she picked one and grandma got her settled on the toilet and she started just crying this sad little cry. Grandma is kind of frustrated at this point not understanding the potty apprehension and asks what is wrong. The little girl says in the most serious tone the she just does not want to be on the toilet when the alligators come. He He.....you know what is happening. Big brother told her that alligators live in the toilet and come out when you are on it and can get you ;) Gotta love brothers. Grandma kind of sighed and said that they were just playing a trick on her and that alligators DO NOT live in the toilet. The little girl was never quite convinced it was joke but finally she quit sniffling and went potty. So, just in case you had any doubts about alligators in the toilet you heard it from grandma that it is not true ;)
