Today was super hot but I knew one thing had to be done this weekend. Our yard looked and still kind looks bad. It was in dire need of some attention. With Trey being on a camping/biking trip tonight and most of the day tomorrow and with me working tomorrow there was not much choice but to cut today. I waited till the heat dropped off a little after 6 and got started. I knew that I did not have a ton of time since I was meeting a friend at 7:30 or so. I got started with the task and as always it was a messy scene.
Apparently, it has been a while since me and mower have spent some time together. It took me four tries to get it cranked. Then, I had the awkward task of maneuvering the new tree in the front yard, the edging for the landscaping and a some pole close to the mailbox. I think it said it was an underground cable wire of some sorts?? I could have that wrong. Whatever the case it looked scary and like I should not be trying to bowl it over. What can I say.....the mower goes where it pleases. I hit it three times and on the third heard some kind of buzzing almost?? Maybe someone should check on me tomorrow morning to make sure I have not blown the house up ;)
It was not my best mowing moments ever. The front looks decent except for the edging which I have never attempted. The weed eater really scares me! Trey will take care of that when he comes home but I still have the back yard to contend with at some point. The backyard is always much easier.

The last time I used our lawn mower (riding), I broke it (and I mean, I broke it to the point that we had to get rid of it)! I am NOT allowed to touch the mower at all! You really crack me up Bri!
