Saturday marks the date! I know we have spent a couple of posts on this but we were excited and I know not everyone really cares about this but we do and this is a great way for us to remember the occasion so bear with us. This is the last one about this....for now. I changed the first song on the play list to the one we walked down the aisle to as Mr. & Mrs. for the first time....

This day is still as vivid for me as I am sure it is for Trey too. I was not able to sleep all night long so it was a long day! We opted to see each other before the wedding after we did all of the individual shots. Getting to that point seemed like an eternity...knowing he was there in the same building as me ;)
When the time came we got a moment to ourselves except for us and the camera catching the first interactions. Those moments were so sweet and clumsy and unreal. It did not seem like we had really made it to that day. In that moment all of the drama and stress and tears over various things melted away and all that was there was a smile....and a few happy tears.
Whoever says the first year of marriage is not hard is either not telling the truth or just not being themselves for an entire year ;) It was hard but also fun and every other emotion you can think of all rolled into one. When you bring two people together there is an adjustment period and when real life and work and other things kick in it gets a little crazy. Once you get past it all and learn how to work as a team and not as complete individuals only doing for yourselves it becomes more clear and the path opens up and things get lighter. You see the accomplishment and maturity your relationship has taken on and realize it has becomes so much more....You become partners in crime, each other's biggest fans through all of the dissapointment and happiness and it becomes so clear just how perfectly you fit into each other's lives.
Trey, I love you and I thank you for the laughter, love, and fun times we have had and for the ones yet to come and for being my best friend in the whole world. Here's to many, many more............Happy 5th Anniversary!

I definately don't need to read this being pregnant. The pictures are gorgeous and congratulations on 5 years. You two definately are a wonderful couple.
