Painting Palooza

One of my goals for 2011 is to turn my hobby into something that I can share with others! I have recently started painting and truly enjoy it. I have not put much time and effort into it yet as far as coming up with designs etc. I've just kind of done some things for around my house that I have enjoyed. So, over the next few months I am going to plan out and paint about 10-15 samples if I can come up with that many. They will consist of bible verses for baby's rooms, name canvases for kid's or baby's room, bible verses for around the house and door hangers to liven up your front door year round!

We will see how this goes. I am going to get to painting this weekend and begin putting a blog together. I'll pass the new blog along when it is complete and I have all my sample prints posted. This is a total shot in the dark and I hope I can pull this together. With anything like this you take a risk in putting yourself out there to hope that someone else appreciates your ability. Regardless, I'll probably use samples that I can then give as gifts so if it goes nowhere then I have still shared my passion with friends/family which would make it all worthwhile ;-)

Interested to see where this takes me and looking forward to sharing my hard work when the time comes.
