Two Contracts in One Week!

As I talked about in the last post we signed papers on our new house and are slated to close June 10th. Well in a crazy turn of events the same week we signed to move we got an offer on our current house!! Amazing! We have had so much worry and shed many tears over whether we were doing the right thing and wondering if we should just walk away from it all and stay here till after Parker arrives in September. But we decided to forge ahead and see what happened and the outcome exceeded our expectations ten fold.

I think we kept holding onto this notion of control and controlling every detail and when those details would occur. When we decided to move forward without our current house being sold we had peace. A peace we had not felt in 9 months about this house and that things would happen but we had to believe that. We were definitely taking a huge leap of faith! So we did and God's plan for our little family came together quickly. He once again showed us who was in control and not only that but that he always has our best interest in mind.

So, now we are closing on our current house June 29th! We have to get thru one more major hurdle which is an inspection and getting any items fixed that need to be fixed. Then we just wait and pray that all continues to go as planned with the buyer and that we close on the appointed date.
