A Thanksgiving/Anniversary to Remember

These past several months have been so wild and crazy so why should we expect a nice quiet holiday?? For starters I have to give a shout out to Trey and to my mom. They were troopers. Thanksgiving was supposed to be a special time with our families but also because it was also the day of our 4 year anniversary. It all started this past Wednesday a week ago. I felt as if I had the flu and was pretty much miserable. I went to the doctor fully expecting for him to tell me I had the flu because obviously I could not be wrong. No such luck and he one upped me and I got stuck in the hospital for the night to get some much needed fluids via IV and various other medicine they put through that thing. I was released Thanksgiving Day and after spending the night in the hospital with me mom then went to cook for everyone else. I spent the entire day asleep and only woke to eat a meal that Trey prepared for me and then returned to my deep sleep. I pretty much repeated this scenario for 3 full days and slowly came around by Sunday and Monday. I was on a no work restriction until returning to the doctor this week and am working part time till Saturday when I must get back to the regular routine. The culprit was a virus of a non specific kind. I say all of that to say that even though we really had no Thanksgiving or anniversary celebration I am so lucky to have a wonderful and caring huband that is my best friend and partner in all that I do. He took care of me and stayed by my side the whole time. We are also lucky to have such loving and caring families who will drop everything to be with us in a time of need. We appreciate you and do not say it as often as we should.

Happy 4 years! I'm so glad that they found out was wrong. Hate that you missed the big turkey day. Hope that you are continuing to feel better.

What hospital where you at? Corey & I were both at Crestwood on Thanksgiving day for the same exact reason! Crazy!
