Hope you all had a nice weekend! We certainly did have a great one. We enjoyed our dinner at Bonefish Grill on Friday night. The bang bang shrimp was great as always. Our main dishes were ok but the appetizer made up the difference. Thanks to all for birthday wishes. My wonderful husband got me a day at Terrame Spa to be used before the end of the month. I have so much going on at work he wants to make sure I take a break so I do not get sick again ;) Awww! Then I received money and various other gifts. All in all it was a good one and we will continue to celebrate for a little bit longer.
Yesterday we were both off work so we did a lot of running around and got that Christmas tree and came home for an evening of fun decorating the tree yesterday night. While standing at the kitchen counter I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I asked Trey to check it out....when he says Oh my gosh!! I knew it was a bad sign!!!!! We have a MOUSE in our HOUSE!!!! I am not a fan. Of course I had to scrub down everything and sanitize and then went and bought out Home Depot for those no view traps. We will see. Till then I am on gaurd and cleaning like a fool.
Also last night among the mouse drama. As a side note if you know how I am about bugs, insects, vermen of any kind you know this was an all night drama that continued into this morning ;) We decided to try and take the Christmas card photo. Needless to say it was not a good idea. We are going to try for another night but here is a sampling of the bad shots we got. We have tons of them. Our house was like a mini circus act last night. Enjoy!!!!
Belle is so OVER taking pictures. At this point she is just moving around the room pacing in anticipation for the collar to come off.
This is ok but definately not Christmas card caliber. Belle was not happy at all about the photo shoot.
This is how 99% of all my pictures turn out. I always close my eyes!!!! I look like I am meditating.
We look like we are leaning to the side to dodge something and we have sparkly reflections on our faces!!

Glad to hear that you had a great birthday! I love the pictures! We always seem to take so many just trying to find that perfect picture. We had a mouse in our house about a year or two ago. I was a bit surprised when we ended up killing 6 mice! Yuck! We tried using those traps that you got, but they did not work that well. The glue traps worked the best, but I felt like I was torturing the little guys because it did not kill them instantly. Good luck with getting your mouse caught.
I've never been to Bonefish Grill. We're usually going to Little Rosie's or somewhere like that with the kids. Enjoy your romantic dates while you can. :) Happy Birthday, too! I hope you find the mouse. We actually caught one in our garage a couple of weeks ago. It would freak me out if I knew one was in my house. YUCK!!! I kinda like card #2 for a Christmas card. I think it's cute. :) That dog collar is too funny.
I'm glad your birthday was good and you got lots of good stuff. The pictures are really funny! It always seems so stressful trying to get one good shot for that crazy Christmas card. Good luck & happy shooting! :)
