So....tomorrow is the start of my birthday weekend. In general around our house because of conflicting schedules we usually celebrate before or after the actual day. This translates into the fact that we usually celebrate over an extended period of time.I think we celebrated Trey's birthday for the whole month of June. I see nothing wrong with this. My actual birthday is Dec 2nd which falls on Sunday. I am turning the big 26. Whew! Sounds weird to say but I guess I am over it now. I had a really hard time with 25 but this one seems to feel a little better.
Tomorrow night we are going to Bonefish Grill to celebrate since we both have to work Saturday and Trey works on Sunday. We will celebrate in style with some bang bang shrimp and whatever else strikes our fancy. I will also be receiving a present which I so rudely almost opened today. I do not take hints well so when we were cleaning out cars and the garage today I opened in Trey's backseat what I thought was a present someone had given him. It was in a cute bag and had an envelope with a seal on it that had a T. I thought that he had received some stationary?? I know...really silly but I forged ahead. He asked me when I had ever seen him use stationary. Again..very silly thought. I then realized it was present for me and hastily put it half opened back in the bag. It will still be a surprise to me since I stopped myself mid opening. The suspense is now starting to creep in as to what it is. I will post what the surprise is and hopefully some pictures.
On a great note we got the Christmas decorations down today and to my surprise I realized we bought a whole bunch of Christmas cards and a cute wreath last year at Target at the after Christmas sale. That was like a present in and of itself since I forgot I had bought those. That puts me a little closer to getting those cards out this year. Some of the decorations made it onto the mantle and we are also one step closer to getting that tree up.
On an unrelated note we go to New York right after Christmas with our buddies Taylor and Tori and I have never been so ready for a vacation. I am about to start counting down the days!! I am also really hoping for some snow too. Maybe the big guy can work on that one since I am giving a months notice. Ha! Just kidding. But I really do want snow :)

Yeah for Bonefish Grill. I wish we could be there to celebrate with you guys but know that we are thinking about you guys and hope that you have a fabulous birthday. Maybe I can tell Taylor that we need to go to Bonefish here and pretend that we are sitting with you guys!! Both of us at BG's just in different states!! I love it when you pull xmas stuff out and forget that you bought something previously!! Tell Trey hello for me.

Aww Thanks Taylor! I like how you jumped ahead 4 years!! I still have some time before I am over the hill :) In all seriousness this birthday is ok. Last year is what I really had a tough time with. Turning 25 was a real ordeal for me for some reason.
