Just a quick weekend update. We had a busy weekend and it looks like the week will follow suit. We spent the night with some good friends of ours Dan and Leann in Florence Friday night and part of the day Saturday. They have one of the cutest babies around and we had a good time catching up and of course playing with Ava. Dan got a call Saturday morning while we were there that his 22 year old cousin had died in a car wreck. He was a senior and UNA and a 2004 graduate of Mars Hill Bible School. We went to the visitation in Florence yesterday and the funeral was today. This family will need prayers to get through the coming weeks and months.
We had a nice birthday dinner with my family on Saturday and I think dad got some good presents and we had a great dinner. My mom can cook up a mean meal.
Today I am off work and preparing for a dinner at our house tonight. Seems like every time I clean a room another gets piled with stuff. The cleaning seems neverending today so I needed a break. Below is a picture of Ava. She is cute and of course Trey took tons of pictures and got some really good ones but I'll just pick one. Have a great Monday!

We had a great time at your house tonight. I do feel bad that ya'll did all that after everything that happened this weekend. Thanks, though, for hosting and being so sweet...as always. Sorry again about the cornbread crumbs. Maybe we got them all up. :) I love the updated bathrooms.
