Wow! what a weekend! It started Thurs. night with dinner with my mom and dad (we went and saw my grandparents as well) at my favorite Italian eatery and then Bri and I hung out with my brother and sis-in-law Friday afternoon and evening, and then Saturday was the benefit dinner (actually, it was a benefit brunch- but that just sound funny). We had a great time and we got to see and hang out with a lot of people that we dearly love.
I want to extend a very special "thank you" to all who helped with my photo selection. I went with the two pictured above. The pic on the bottom was the most popular from your comments and the one on top was one that was not on flickr- but one I thought might do well in the auction. The one on top sold for $45 which was not bad, but.......the one on the bottom............TWO HUNDRED BUCKS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!! and whats more.....I sold 3 (yes, three) copies of it for $200 EACH!!!! Of course, all of the money went to the scholarship- I couldn't be more proud! All in all, we raised about $8000, which is $1000 more than last year! we were very proud and excited! It is so rewarding knowing that our efforts are going towards my friend Bobby's name living on through his scholarship!
