Breezy's Notes:
We are well into day three of vacation and loving it. So relaxed and going with the flow. The weather has been great ( a little chilly at times and down right cold at night) but great overall. So far we have done alot of WALKING. We just figured out the bus system today so we have done a little less walking.We have hit the high lights so far with seeing Russian Hill, Lombard Street (the windy one), Union Square and China Town. Tonight is the night tour of Alcatraz. It is recommended in the travel books that you go first or last so we choose to go last. We will see how it works out for us. We are really excited!!! Mishaps so far have been minimal.......we thought the alcatraz cruise was last night so we walked all the way over only to realize it was today ;) I came unprepared with not good shoes. I have now purchased three new pairs of crocs! I came upon a fabulous sale though and got a killer deal today to get the other two pairs. Also, trey decided to take us on a tour of Macondry Lane today on recommendation from a book. It was a long windy, steep jungle road. I thought not happy thoughts most of that walk ;) I got over it after we made our way to Lori's Diner in Ghiradelli Square. We had a really wonderful lunch on recommendation from a local guy that I bought the shoes from. Here are a few pics......
This one above is stinkin hilarious to me! Trey had asked me to stand there so he could focus the camera on his tripod. He was snapping away and kept telling me to face forward so he could get the lighting right. I got tired of just standin so this was one of my many poses.
Trey's words on San Fran:
so we are having a great time! here are a couple of funny stories:
1-we saw a homeless guy (actually, we saw LOTS) who held a sign that read "family kidnapped by ninjas; need money for kung fu lessons"
2-while taking pics at Alcatraz tonight, I leaned on something that was covered in fresh bird poop! Unfortunatly, I didn't realize til we got back on the boat (I kept smelling something....) It smelled really bad! Luckily, Bri brought a travel size laundry detergent, so my jacket and backpack (both with a HUGE bird poop spot) are soaking in our tub right now!
3-I have been wearing my Boston Red Sox cap and people keep talking to me about it. "you from boston?"; "GO YANKEES!"; "so, you a big Red Sox fan?". I won't be wearing my Red Sox hat anymore this week.

Trey...when I was a freshman at Harding, on a night when we had open house (where boys could go into girls' dorms for an hour and then girls into boys') I was on my way to my dorm for our one hour of glory for all of our guy friends to see our room. I was almost to the dorm's front door, when I felt this big plop--right on my head! I thought it was raining at first, but I reached up and looked at my finger...and it was white! :( I got up to my room with about 4 minutes to do a "spot cleaning" before our company came!
Glad ya'll are having a good time! Wish I was there. :)
What? Not wear your Boston hat because of a few comments... what kind of Red Sox fan are you? Oh, wait. You're not a Boston fan at all. You just like the hat don't you? You're one of those guys! :)
BTW, I love the picture of Breezy with he fist in the air...funny stuff!
I loved reading about all that is going on out in San Fran. I'm so glad that you guys are having such a great time! Your stories totally crack me up!

LOL!!! This is hilarious!! I haven't had time to read it till now!! I am in a meeting and suppose to be paying attention to SVT,SDMPTA yadda yadda yadda but I have no clue what they are talking about so... You guys are WAY More entertaining and important!!
