I just have to say that today I feel like a big old workhorse. My job has been insane lately!! There is literally not one point in my day that I am not doing something. The days of having time to send an e-mail or two on a break are coming to a halt. I have been coming home exhausted and worn down for the past two weeks or really since we got back from vacation. I think I have decided to only work two weeks out of the year and then take vacation the rest of the time instead of the other way around ;) I let you know if that works out for me ;) Wouldn't that be nice!
Today I painted at work......as if I have not done that enough at home. Geez!! We are redoing our gift shop and any painting and fixing up that had to be done myself and one other person had to do on our own. Tons of moving things and trudging around with boxes and merchandise and painting. It was a mess as was I ;) Even though I was in the presence of many others my painting skills did not improve. We only had a few casualties though.....we are sad to say that we have lost about 5 carpet squares to my messiness and I ended up with paint all up and down my arms.
I hope that this insanity stops sometime soon!!! One should not be so busy at work that you do not have time for random meaningless chatter, coffee breaks (mt dew breaks for me) and internet surfing on the fox news entertainment section at some point just to clear your mind and to find out what Britney Spears is up to. Ha Ha. Just kidding.
On a happier note we are really looking forward to football season. I never thought I would say that with such vigor but it is true!!! We had the best time last year being able to catch the games with friends. It is a fabulous excuse to eat on and off for four hours or so and do absolutely nothing but let out a yell every now and then ;)

I feel your pain, girl! It never stops around here...you don't even have kids yet, either. You need to be using this time to rest up before you do. :) I hope things slow down for you soon. I miss not seeing you.
I hope that things will slow down a little for you at work. I can't imagine doing all of the jobs that you do at work. I can't wait for football either. We used to enjoy getting together with our friends to watch the game when we lived in Tennessee. But no one around here cares to watch Tennessee play. Boo!
Girl you have got to slow down! : ) It is always hard to return home from vacation and get back to the real world. We got home on Friday and when Corey went back to work on Monday I found myself to be depressed most of the day not wanting to get back into a routine. Wouldn't it be nice to vacation more that we work?
