33 weeks...Dr. update from today

Today we had THE appointment. Last week we were told this could be the day we did a c-section to meet our little boy due to me developing preeclampsia. We went today for a non stress test to check on Cooper, to get an ultrasound and make sure he looks good and to see what my blood work showed.

Well, the blood work was fine which has really been the case all along. My proteins in my urine are what have been testing over and I did not have that test this week. The ultrasound was great and we found out that Cooper is already 5 pounds meaning if he holds till 34 weeks next Tuesday and we have him he will be in great shape especially since I have had the steriod shots. Praise God!!

The plan as of now is I go back to the doctor THIS Thursday for another checkup. Then Sunday I begin a 24 hour urine collection and turn it in on Monday. Doctor said to be prepared for a call if it is too high before our Wednesday appointment. They hope to have results by Tuesday but if not we will find out Wednesday. This is the big determining factor test as it is the test last week that showed I was only 50 points short of preeclampsia. If I hit that magic number we will be delivering.

If not then I am on twice a week doc visits till we get to 36 weeks and at that point we might get to go ahead and deliver but that is still so far away as we have many hurdles to jump before then. We are praising God for the great news about Cooper's weight and the fact that he can grow for one more week. Thank you all so much for lifting us up through all of this.
