It's a Sign

I had to laugh yesterday because it really kind of hit me that I'm totally a mom now and I have a baby (although he is getting dangerously close to not being so babyish). My top hints of the week have been....

When I dried my hair yesterday morning I realized that I was drying my hair with a bright green dinosaur towel. It was pretty funny and pretty handy since there is a little hood that fits on your head. Kept the towel on pretty good!

Then, later as I was searching through my purse for a pen to write something down I found two baby spoons, a pacifier and a few random puffs that I am not totally sure where they came from ;-)

And last but not least....I act insanely crazy sometimes to get food down my little one. Meal times might as well be improv times at our house some days. Now that we are trying to move to finger foods with new tastes and textures we struggle some days. So, one day this week I was actually singing about black beans to cooper to get him to want to eat them. How did I do this....I sang baby got back and changed the words. It went a little something like.....I like black beans and I cannot lie, no other baby can deny, when a bean walks in with its shiny squishy skin I go mmmmmm. Then somewhere in the middle I happily sang...When you put this round thing in my face I get PUMPED cause I like it so much! I know....only one thing could make me act so terribly ridiculous. My child......

There it is. I am totally certifiable. And yes, there has been alot more than this going on with us lately but this is what I chose to talk about. Go figure ;-)

I love it Bri! I know that you are such a good mommy to Cooper! He is blessed to have you singing him to him with those songs. :)

Isn't it amazing how you don't think twice about making a complete fool out of yourself all for the sake of your child? Welcome to motherhood...you're definitely "official" now :)

OH my Bri you make me laugh. You definately are a great Mom. And sometimes you will do whatever you can do to make a child do something you want them to do. I'm with Anna though, we need a video please. :)
