Today Trey and I will celebrate 7 years of marriage. I feel like looking back we have changed and grown so much but we have done it all together. It's neat to see where we started and what all we have been through. I think this every year but man I totally did not know what I was getting myself into. LOL... This is a good thing. Our marriage has taught me so much about how to be a better person. I am still learning every day. I think my husband is definitely one of the good ones but I am quite sure I don't tell him that often enough. I think we have put more emphasis on our marriage this year than ever before. When you add a baby into the mix it is easy to get consumed in being Cooper's mom and dad and letting everything else fall to the side. I think we are reaping the rewards from the effort we have put forth and we are just that much stronger. Here are the top reasons why i love you! There a million others but you get the idea.....I think you are pretty cool ;-)
1.- You almost always know how I feel about something before I do whether it be a movie, an outfit, a specific situation, food...etc. Sometimes it ticks me off that you know me so well but it is also something I love about you. It shows that you are attentive to my likes and dislikes and just me in general.
2.- I love that you have an appreciation for things I don't (mostly the great outdoors) but you never guilt me to do what you love. You do what you love and I do what I love and we meet in the middle. You accept that I will never spend a week in the mountains of Tsali with you but that I might sometime when Cooper gets older go to the the state park with you for a one night camp out...and that I might sleep in the car ;-)
3.- I love that you are always my biggest supporter in whatever I do. Through the different jobs I have had to my latest job of staying home. You NEVER discount my ability and you always encourage me to go for it and let me know that you think I'm the best at whatever I'm doing. If I ever think I can't handle it all you are sure to let me know that I can and will and that I'll be great at it.
4.- I love that you work hard and that you LOVE what you do. Your profession itself gives you a lot of joy and self satisfaction and that is an admirable quality.
5.- I love that you are a wonderful daddy ;-) You are patient, kind, loving, the disciplinarian when I have trouble with it, and wildly child like when you need to be too.
6.- I love you because when I worked we always had equal duties and now that I don't work we still even things out. You always recognize when I need a break and you always are willing to jump in and take over within 5 minutes from coming home from a long day if needed. Not that things always have to be equal but I think it just shows me how much respect you have for me.
We are so blessed with a wonderful life that we have together. May we NEVER forget that our blessings come from above. I love you!
