Since the last post so many things have happened in our lives. We finally have the whole house ordeal behind us. On July 29th we said goodbye for GOOD to our first home on Medicine Bend. We had such a struggle selling this home and there were MANY obstacles and offers. It finally all held together on the 3rd offer we got and we made it to closing. One of the best days!!! We had been carrying around so much stress with trying to move ahead with our new home and life but still maintaining the old house and dealing with minor issues that kept creeping up here and there. I think that God blessed us in a major way with how things worked out. We sold literally two days before we would have begun paying two mortgages. Something we were prepared to do but what a relief not to have to go through that.
Fast forward to mid August where we finally had the joy of beginning to work on decorating our new house and putting together a nursery for the new baby! This is something that I did not really get to be that involved with when we had Cooper because we literally had to have other people put the nursery together since we were told we were going to have him early. So, I wanted to do this nursery and take full participation in it just in case I began to have any issues. We have had it done for a few weeks but will hopefully put the final touches on it this week or next and be completely ready for Parker!
This pregnancy has gone eerily PERFECT up to this point. My blood pressure has actually been running LOW. I have still gained under 30 pounds which is so far less than what I gained the first time it is not even funny!! I have been fully active and even cut grass till almost 6 months. I am still going strong with no real signs of being a month away from a baby other than the aches and pains that come from sitting too long. We are blessed!!!!!!! In a million years I never could have dreamed of a better pregnancy than what I have had this time. I'm just continually praying for the day that Parker arrives and the day that we are all together as a family of 4 ;-) I'll have a scheduled C-section on September 29!!!!
I am truly enjoying my new hobby of making wreaths for baby showers and seasonal wreaths as well. I still love doing canvases too! I am also thinking about beginning to try and expand into burlap work as well. I have seen some super cute door hangers made out of burlap! This is still just a hobby and I mostly do things for my house or as baby shower gifts but if I can get good enough I am going to try and start selling some things and just doing custom orders. I would also love to get my stuff in some of the local shops but not sure how that all even works. BUT that is for after the new year when I have time to add to my portfolio a little more but something I am really interested in. The motivation to do this will have to become a little more strong because I enjoy it so much and don't want it to become stressful but at the same time if I am going to be able to continue exploring my capabilities and what I can do I am going to have to at least make the money to cover supplies for a while when I am still learning. I'm just praying I'll be able to do something at some point with what I really enjoy ;-)
