My general consensus is that we have been working too much lately. We have nothing really fun or too terribly exciting to share. When we have not been working we have been trying to just relax but I do not think that has been working too well. We find ourselves catching up on things we have kind of thrown to the side in our rushing around. I am thinking we are in serious need of a weekend away;) Not sure that will happen any time soon with our schedules but I am hoping for a getaway somewhere at least by June. It takes a toll on you when you take 3-4 vacations a year and then halt to none and it is May. This time last year we had just returned from the Bahamas cruise with Taylor and Tori and were getting ready for a trip to Jacksonville,FL for a wedding and then Vero Beach Disney Resort. Ahhhhh....a few pics just for rememberance purposes ;) At least I can kind of feel like I am closer to relaxing when I look at these pics. Pick a song from the bottom of the blog off the playlist if you don't like the one it brings up and enjoy ;0
On another subject we are looking at after May 14 for our air conditioning fix. We are waiting to get one more quote this week from the people Sunny recommended (thanks for the info). Then we have to wait for an efficiency audit from Huntsville Utilities to be a part of a rebate program which really pays off in the end. The weather has been great the past few days but I do not suspect that it will hold off for two weeks ;) We will wish and cross our fingers that we do not hit some massive heat wave. If we do then please expect a call from us asking for a place to stay. Just kidding in a serious kind of way! We are lucky in the fact that the downstairs unit is fine and we can always camp down there if it gets serious up here.

Hey we are wanting to do a weekend away as well sometime soon...maybe we can plan a weekend somewhere together!!! I hope you can find some time to relax soon and that the next few weeks fly by as you await air conditioning.
you could always throw together a trip to the bahamas for 2 weeks then come back to a fixed house! :)
i loved the slide shows, but one pic made me laugh--the big bandaid on the leg on the right in the pic with everyone's flip flops!! :)

Yeah, I cut my leg and it started bleeding a good bit. It was a small cut but that was the only band aid to be found. What's a girl to do ;)

Love the slide shows! I hope that you guys get a good quote for your a/c unit. You are more than welcome to come over here. We actually had to leave our house when the a/c went out. It was absolutely horrible!
I love the slide show. How did you do that? Thomas and I seriously need a vacation. WE have not been on one together (just the two of us) in a very LONG time!
You can upload pics into a free google picasa web album. It has a feature that generates a code that you can cut and paste into your post. It took me forever to figure out back in December when I did one of the NYC trip but now I have it down ;)
