This post is a little late because most of our readers have probably seen us by now but just in case I will fill you in. Trey has been threatening for months now to get his hair buzzed when it got warm. We talked about it repeatedly and he would ask me my thoughts on it. I always just said do what you want. Not that I do not want him to do what he wants but I guess I thought he was joking about it. I came home a week ago or so and he had done it!!! I knew he was going to get his hair cut but did not think anything about it until I pull up in the drive and ALL his hair is gone. First words out of my mouth were "I HATE IT". Very harsh but it is true. I must tell on myself for how not nice I was at first.
I think she used a 3 gaurd maybe (not sure what that really means). I just know that it was extremely shorter than I had seen it in a VERY long time. It really shocked me and I was mad about it at first. Trey thought all this was hilarious. I think one reason I was mad is because on the way home he said he had a surprise for me. I do not know what I thought I was getting but....I got home and it was like SURPRISE I have no hair. I gently suggested that I thought it would be better if he did not approach it from that angle next time.
Now it is growing out some.....and I actually am beginning to like it. I like the shorter look just not sooooo short. I am not sure what he plans to do with the next hair cut but at least I will not be caught off gaurd as much. He is also growing a beard....I think that was after the encouragement from Dan?? Not sure but he seems to like it. I cannot get sold on the beard thing. I have a picture of the first day he got it all buzzed off. Not sure he would want me to post it but if he feels like it going up he can post it. I will leave that part up to him.
Oh well.....quiet day around here yesterday and pretty relaxing. Hope you all had a good weekend!!

I'm sure the buzz will take some getting use to. I remember the first time THomas told me to buzz hi hair and I thought it looked kinda weird but for years that is the way it has stayed....very short. I don't think I could handle the beard thing though.--for Thomas I mean.
Can't wait to see it! I agree...tell him he better not ever tell you again that he has a surprise for you and do something like that. I'm sure that was a big let down. :)
I can't wait to see it either! Jason buzzed his hair once and I did not like it at all. He wore a hat the whole summer and only took it off for the times that we were in church.
