Well, things are rolling along this week and I am just counting down the days till Friday ;) Not that I want to wish time away or anything like that but I cannot wait for a few slow days at work. Anyways.........
After all the groups left yesterday we had an all staff cleaning day where we scrubbed all of the exhibit areas and actual exhibits. We really put some major elbow grease into this mass cleaning to prepare for some VIP events we have coming up the last week of May. As I am out cleaning I got in the floor to scrub this one exhibit and someone called my name so I hopped up. When I just "hopped" up I hit my head harder than I could even explain. I got clocked hard!!!! I got a little teary eyed and sat down for a minute. The one person that saw me do it was kinda worried for me. I checked a few times to make sure I was not bleeding and after a while a BIG red bump appeared. I was a sad sight last night when I finally made it hom after a super long day.
This morning my head was still hurting but now I am beginning to think I have a problem. Could it be that I am really a hot mess all the time now?!?!?! In the past four months or so I have been sick numerous times (in part due to fact that I work with kids) and almost broken my foot and busted my head!! Good grief. I have always teased trey for being clumsy but I am beginning to think that it is all coming back to me now. My boss said today that she feared for me almost as she laughed really hard as I was rubbing on my sore spot.
What is this world coming to? I think part of my problem is that I am always in SUCH a hurry to get things done because we work on such a fast pace every day. I guess that I am always in overdrive these days. I need to take the time to SLOW MY ROLL is the moral of that story I guess ;)

I'm sorry, Bri. You have had a rough time lately. Maybe you've got a lot of good things coming your way soon. :) I feel that way, too, sometimes. I have so much to do...I just can't seem to slow it down. It's time for a vacation for us girls, isn't it???
Ouch...that really hurts. I don't remember if you were there or not...I just about knocked myself out helping your mom lay the wood floor in her kitchen....I raised up real quick forgetting that there was a CABINET above my head! I really did have the little birds flying around my head like the coyote from the old Roadrunner cartoons! Rach
Now that you mention it Rach I do remember that. It was the same type of thing. I remember that we felt so bad cause there is nothing you can do ;)

I miss you girl!!! I too have been a huge cluts on this trip and have hit my head numerous times getting in and out of a truck...however not so hard to make me cry just hard enough to be laughed at by the locals and the students!! I can't wait to BE BACK in the States!!! We miss you terribly!!! I am praying for you and hope your head gets to feeling better girl..I am Sooo Sorry!!!!
